Networker browseable recoveries are just that - browsed from a client, with individual folders or files selected and restored. This can be done by users, and file permissions are maintained once restored.
Save Set recoveries recover an entire save set. Only administrators are allowed to restore a save set, and they can be used when the CFI is gone after the browse policy has expired. It is possible to recover individual files in a save set restore if you know the whole path, and these can sometimes be faster if there are a lot of files to restore.
Recovery Utilities include "recover" which is on any Networker client, "nwrecover" on *NIX hosts or "nwrecover.exe" from a Windows CLI, or winworkr.exe to recover through a Windows GUI.
To recover a failed Networker server, you must have the bootstrap save set, which is a file emailed to the admin after the backup jobs are completed.
